It’s the holiday season and with that means we want to spread some cheer with friends and family over good meals and bottles of champagne. Here are a few 2015 Austin Holiday Menu Specials featuring  fun Christmas and New Years menus that I’m sure will make any moment more joyous! Eat up, you deserve it 🙂

Holiday Menu Specials

Sala & Betty

The Hightower

NYE: Will be serving its regular dinner menu and giving all guests a complimentary glass of champagne.

Throughout the month of December, guests at laV can add shaved white alba truffles to any dish at cost ($10/gram). The restaurant team will be on hand to help the diner select the dishes that the truffles will complement the best. Some of those dishes include:

  • Escargot, garlic velouté, gnocchi, parsley 14*
  • Roasted cauliflower, pumpkin, apple butter, comté fondue 15*
  • Mushroom risotto, grana padano, oyster 15*
  • White truffle tagliatelle, lemon butter, grana padano 40*
  • Strube wagyu ribeye, fried artichoke, red bell pepper sauce 60*
  • Dewberry farm chicken for two, whipped potato, oyster mushroom, frisée 48*
  • Hand cut fries, béarnaise*
  • Whipped potato, chive*

This special is running congruently with the December Tasting Menu: three savory courses (changing weekly) for $60 and optional wine pairings for an additional $30.

Goodall’s Kitchen

A three-course Christmas Day brunch will be held on Friday, December 25th between 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. The holiday brunch includes warm sugar doughnuts, spiced pumpkin hotcakes, sweet potato biscuits and more. Menu and reservations can be found by clicking here.

The Carillon

The following six courses, priced at $75 per person, will be served on New Year’s Eve:

  • Amuse Bouche of pomegranate granita and Alan Christopher Blanc de Blanc
    Field Pea Salad with grilled oyster escabeche, jalapeño, and charred red onion
  • Elk Carpaccio with collard green kimchi, caper aioli, and rye crisps
  • Crispy Grouper with sunchoke, pickled grape, and spinach
  • Smoked Beef Short Rib with sweet potato, chipotle, tomatillo relish, and fried brussels sprouts
  • Pecan Fritter with dark chocolate ice cream, orange curd, guajillo, and cumin

Rebel Pizza Bar

  • Free-flowing pizzas and appetizers from 9pm-12am
  • Complimentary champagne toast at midnight
  • Happy Hour prices all night
  • $27 per person for the all-you-can eat pizza party, champagne toast and party favors!
  • Party goes until 1am
