Verts Now Serves Wine

Verts is known for its Mediterranean flavors, delicious appetizers, falafel, kebabs, and now it is introducing wine to the menu!

I’m a big fan of Verts and usually eat there once a week. It’s convenient, offers healthy options, and tastes delicious. I love their chicken kabob! So when I found out they were adding wine to their menu and expanding their offerings, I was excited that one of my favorite fast casual restaurants just got cooler.

I was invited to a special preview of the new wine offerings where we dined on some new appetizers that are being tested to make it onto the Verts menu. And full disclosure, everything was excellent and I’m super excited to be able to order wine at Verts now.

They had three dishes that they were pairing with three wines:

  • Israeli Hummus with the Sonoma Cutrer Chardonnay
  • Babaganoush with the Ruffino Prosecco
  • Queso Fundido with the Wild Horse Pinot Noir

Each dish was a trip back to the flavors of the Mediterranean, the Israeli hummus had paprika and tahini topped with stewed lamb. The Babaganoush was made with eggplant and topped with blistered tomatoes. And the Queso Fundido was made with creamy feta and topped with ground beef. Served with warm, fresh cut pita pieces, every appetizer we had was rich in flavor and paired with the wine, made for quite a nice appetizing evening.

Verts will be selling wine in the 1/2 bottle, which makes it perfect for a glass or two with your favorite items from their menu.

I hope you’ll go check out Verts new wine offering and be sure to tell them Dine With Shayda sent you!
