Lonesome Dove Austin Debuts $12 Capitol Lunch Special

Lonesome Dove Austin, Chef Tim Love’s newest Austin restaurant will be featuring a different $12 Capitol Lunch Special menu every day of the week. The lunch special rotates to feature different Austin-inspired dishes that showcase Love’s use of bold flavors and wild game. Diners can expect a different lunch special everyday, as well as themed menus, such as Taco Tuesday and Smoked Brisket Friday.

Lonesome Dove is one of my favorite new restaurants in Austin, and the last time I went I had the Capitol Special and it was the smoked and braised brisket, garlic mashed potatoes and Mexican-style sweet corn. It’s such a special and fun restaurant especially if you like to explore gamier proteins like hen, rattlesnake, and kangaroo. Highly recommend and now you can go for lunch and get the capitol special of the day! Let me know what you’ve tried or want to try there, I’m always up for eating something new!
