Fall is in the air! And with the changing of the seasons, Kerbey Lane is debuting a new Fall menu. On it you’ll find some of my new favorites like the Texas Benedict made with grilled Akaushi steak, poached eggs, avocado, topped with queso, and a sprinkle of pico all on top of grilled cornbread.
Akaushi is a Japanese Wagyū breed of cattle. The beef produced by Akaushi cattle is richly marbled with fat and produces a very tender and flavorful meat. Kerbey is going to begin to feature it in a number of their new menu items, including the Pompeii Burger.
The Pompeii burger is made with the Akaushi beef, slices of prosciutto, fontina cheese, caramelized onions, with a sun dried tomato pesto. The meat is moist and packs a lot of flavor, it’s a very juicy burger. Order it with a side of sweet potato fries, you won’t regret it!
Also on the menu are Akaushi chili cheese fries topped with a sunny side egg, corned beef hash, frito pie, sweet potato french toast, pork belly mac & cheese, and Akaushi street tacos. These dishes are only available for a limited time so be sure to go stop on by.
