Growler USA is open for business in Austin and features a craft beer pub with over 100 taps.
Opening up near the University of Texas, this campus beer pub is ready to educate and delight patrons who are looking to wet their microbrew whistles.
Now open for business, and offering over 100 beers, ciders, draught wines and nonalcoholic kombucha teas on tap. The Colorado Growler franchise has found its new home in Austin since Austinites have a big heart for craft brews.
And that’s just part of the fun of Growler USA. They feature local breweries as well as feature some of their favorite from around the country. And they are “True to the Brew” which means they take special care of how the kegs get brought in and handled, as well as hire some of the most knowledgable folks in the industry. A lot goes into crafting small batch beverages, and they want you to have a place that respects that and offers as many options to you as possible.
From the first moment you walk in you’ll feel like you’re in beer heaven, the bar is front and center with all the taps being shown off, and you might feel a little overwhelmed by the sheer amount of options. But then you’ll be greeted by a Brew Master who will help guide you to a good sampling of flavors. They are so knowledgable about every single beverage they have on tap, and want to help you find something you will like. So definitely pick their brain even if you consider yourself a craft brew king or queen.
Or if you’re in a hurry, you can order a Growler of your favorite beer to go (which is kind of what they’re known for!). From Pilsners, Lagers, Ciders, IPAs, Ales, and Meads there will be something for everyone here.
And no pub can be without a good pub menu, so be sure to check out some of their offerings like chicken avocado club or the Growler mac and cheese with brisket which were both delicious and filling since we both know when you go you’ll be drinking.
We had such a fun time sampling beers, and ciders. They’re nice pours, so it should go without saying, but drink responsibly! And had a hoot helping to welcome Growler USA to the neighborhood.
Hope you go, try a beer or two, and tell them Dine With Shayda sent you!
