What is the hardest thing about sticking to a nutrition plan?


That’s right, I purposefully avoided using the word diet, because to me it has negative connotations of doing something temporarily with the intended goal to lose weight. What I do believe is making smart healthy, nutritious choices, for long term benefits, aka a healthy body! And when it comes to eating better, it can be overwhelming to stay on track, especially when you’re a busy gal like me, and don’t have the time to spend it in the kitchen meal prepping.

In comes SnapKitchen. And if you’ve been following this blog, then you know just how big of an advocate I am for their meals. But what I’m an even bigger fan of however, is how much they listen to their customers to provide them with the best options when trying to eat nutritiously.

They’re constantly trying to come up with new dishes, tweaks to their menu like calling out things like sodium content (if you’re tracking things like that), all the protein, sugars, carbs, etc are displayed right on top of the packaging, so I always know what my intake is no matter what it is I’m tracking.

Most recently they launched meal planning, offering a variety of options ranging from Paleo, Whole30, Low Carb, Balance, and High Protein.

Depending on your preference, you can do 3-day, 5-day, and 7-day plans. Providing you options within your nutritious preference for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. For me, my go to is always Paleo. Take be back to the basics. When I think of the history of food, going waaaaaay back to the stone age. We ate what we could forage or hunt, nothing extra, no processed foods, just fresh fruits and veggies, and protein. And so when I look for meals to supplement that, I love that Snap Kitchen calls out meals that specifically avoid things like dairy, grains, and heavy sodium content. Making it *EASY* to eat according to my plan.
