Made From Scratch Italian Pasta Restaurant and Pizzeria
Hey Cedar Park, there’s an Italian Restaurant in town that makes their pastas and doughs from scratch. They’ve got a nice big beautiful patio, and I hear serve a great brunch (more on that later!)
The name is Cedro’s Italian Ristorante and Pizzeria, they’re located in the same shopping center as the Lakeline Alamo Drafthouse Cinema and are a convenient stop for anyone in the Lakeline area.
We were looking for a place to celebrate my sisters birthday that was close to where my parents live, since I had driven by this place before and was curious, we decided to check it out for the occasion.
When we first walked in, the space was decorated very modern and open. It felt very accessible and not overly stuffy, definitely a good choice for date night and family night out!
I made reservations expecting it to be busy on a Friday night around 8pm, but there was actually plenty of space, and in fact a great patio space off the back of the restaurant.
We ordered a little bit of everything to give it a try, and were pleased to hear that the pasta and pizza dough was made fresh daily. We started with an order of calamari, and green vegetable soup. Then ended with a big bowl of spaghetti and meatballs (which was enough for two to share), a salmon on a bed of spaghetti squash, and a chicken pesto flat bread pizza.
The presentation was nice, the flavor was good, and overall we had a delightful time. The prices were also moderate which made this a great accessible Italian restaurant. I know I can’t wait to go back and try brunch, yall know i’m a sucker for eggs benedict, so that patio and some eggs bene and me are going to have a date soon.
