Big Top Candy Shop on SoCo

Big Top Candy Shop on SoCo Reading Time: 2 minutes

Next time you’re strolling down South Congress take a moment to pause at Big Top Candy Shop. It’s an antique circus themed candy shop that boasts a soda fountain, ice cream parlor, specialty chocolates and fudges and over 400 types of bulk candies and 3000 types of wrapped candies.

Big Top Candy Shop opened it’s doors in 2007 and has existed on the bustling South Congress street ever since delighting patrons and passersby.

Shelly and I went in one night where I was invited to basically play around like a true kid in a candy shop. And of course she captured all of my excitement!

I was so delighted at the range of options we had to choose from. A scoop of jelly beans, a few scoops of chocolate peanut butter cups, sixlets, swedish fish, chocolate honeycombs, and a whole bunch of gummy bears later.

It was just a fun shop, I could see this being a great place for date night. Popping by with your kiddos. Grabbing a bag with some friends and walking down SoCo. I mean really, do I have to convince you to go to a candy shop? Didn’t think so.

Go see them next time you’re on SoCo and grab yourself a extra large lollipop while you’re at it!
